Trying not to create fiddly noodling with the megatar. The bass got buried in the mix and the playing with the right hand is not assured. But there is potential here. Simply slamming down 5ths and thirds doesn't work well with the bass. If I am going to make use of this thing, I have to get better at playing contrapuntal lines or ornamental figures with the right hand rather than trying to slam chords on top of the bass line.

Edited actual play of the 2nd session of our Apocalypse World game. In which our heroes deal with the boss of a fort, the fort's militia, and the fort's underclass. A trek into a dust storm. A sleeper is awakened. An androgyne attempts sexual union with a putative messiah. A biker gets confused. A shoot out in a cyber pod ends with a biker dead and the sleeper shocked into unconsciousness. And the aforementioned androgyne stands face to face with biker.

Another very simple melodic sequence to serve as inspiration for later inspirations. Attempted rhythmic accents just weren't played well and it sounds messy, but their are a few places where the phrase slides in an out of phase in a pleasant and interesting way, instead of sloppiness.

A brief guide that revisits the Thesaurus. More conventional scales are listed and the author suggests which of Slonimsky's patterns might fit that scale. So if you are in a musical situation calling for an augmented scale centered on a leading tone, the author lists which of Slonimsky's patterns could serve.

Usually, I try out patterns or scales by laying down a few simple figures and simply superimposing them over top of each other to hear the resulting sounds. Listening to that gives me inspiration for trying to create an actual piece. This gloomy canon was the raw material for the things I tried to play in April and March

A collection of ideas for 4+2 rock songs. There is a Darbuka version of the "al-basit" rhythm. That gets transformed into "Rock," a "3/4" variation at the same tempo, a 4+2/2+4 pattern at the same tempo, and a medium and slow-paced version of same. "december jam" is a schizo collage of all the elements mentioned above.

Various takes on a 6/4 drum pattern. Check the subfolders for the variety available. There is a version of the "al-basit" drum pattern played on Darbuka, a Rock version, a switch into 3/4 time, 3 takes on a 4+2 pattern (slow, medium, and one at the same tempo as the 6/4 rock).
